On the evening of September 22, 2023, the School administration became aware that, based on a parent's statement, law enforcement authorities started to conduct a pre-trial investigation into allegations of sexual violence involving their child.

The School's administration and staff are committed to discovering the truth and are providing full assistance to the investigative process.

The administration has provided law enforcement with all necessary surveillance camera footage.

The School has also taken the following actions:

  1. Parent meetings were held with both the parents of the class in which the child is enrolled and representatives of the parent committee from all School classes. The school director personally addressed the parents' questions and provided information while respecting confidentiality norms.
  2. Parents were shown the locations of all surveillance cameras in the School and were given full access to view footage from these cameras. Detailed records of the child's movements within the School were compiled by an authorized person from other parents in the class, and no incidents of violence against the child were recorded. The parent of the child in question participated in these viewings.
  3. At the School, considering parents' suggestions, 5 additional surveillance cameras have been installed (1 in the classroom and 4 in the restrooms), and the school staff responsible for the security of the primary classes has been increased.

The School undergoes annual inspections by authorized regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with anti-terrorism requirements for educational institutions. The latest inspection was conducted by the Bostandyk District Police Department in May of this year. There were no remarks regarding the School's surveillance system from regulatory authorities, except for a recommendation to install a turnstile at the entrance, which has been implemented.

As of today, there is no evidence confirming that the incident involving the child took place in the School premises.
